Miami & Miami Beach
10 years ago my mum and I were too scared to get out of the car in Miami Beach. Then the travel guide said that Miami & Miami Beach were very dangerous for tourists and that one should allways drive with the car doors locked, be very careful because of robberies and people being killed with guns on the street in bright daylight. Since we didn’t know any better we believed it and so my dad had to drive on.
We have had big regrets about this ever since. So this time there was no discussion. On the way back from Key West we would stop in Miami Beach and just go with the flow. I am not sad that we did, but I think due to all that “CSI Miami magic” I was a bit disappointed!!!
I guess thats about it. Probably last post for now. I might be back in June when I go to London. We’ll see.

Hi, Dany – I am sorry not having found the time to comment before today – there was always lots to do back here in good old Kerpen (I guess, you miss it very much by now…grins). I hope you enjoyed your stay. Your pictures worked out pretty well – judging by them, we can grab a feeling of those bright colors over there; compared to the brightness of the sun and dayligtht in Southern Florida, the daylight in Germany is like being constantly watched through a pair of sun glasses:-) That´s what I remember from my visits to Florida… Best greetings – Ralf
